    Description

    This auction is for a rare 1950's vintage hunting knife and camp axe combo with the original leather sheath, made by Western Cutlery, marked on the knife: WESTCUT - BOULDER, COLO. - MADE IN U.S.A. - 645 - This rare Western  economical combo set is rarely seen. They have black plastic faux jigged bone handle grips with brass rivets and very sharp full tang carbon steel blades with a polished mirror finish. The knife blade has a minor scratch on the blade possibly just lower grade factory steel, there are minor tarnish and age marks on both but overall this set is still in excellent condition and appear barely used if at all. The sheath has some very minor light stains but is also still in excellent condition. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. The knife measures 8 5/8" with a 4 7/8" blade, the axe is 10 1/4" long with a 4 1/4" by 2 1/2" head and in the sheath the weight is 1 lb. 2 oz.
