1988 CASE XX CIVIL WAR LINCOLN & DAVIS KNIFE SET 2 GUNSTOCKS COMPLETE W/COA

Up for auction is a great 1988 Case XX Civil War Set, featuring 2 Case Big Gunstocks, each being 4" closed. Both these knives have the long-discontinued Gold Raised Letter Case Oval Shield and Genuine Bone (cattle bone) scales. Both Case Gunstocks are tang stamped on the master Spear blades with Case XX SS USA with 2 Dots, dating these as 1988 manufactured Case knives. The rear tangs of the small Spear blades are both patterns stamped respectively with (Davis Gunstock) GR6230 SS and (Lincoln Gunstock) B6230 SS. All 4 blades have good "walk and talk" snap. The master Spear blades are deep etched on both knives with the signatures of Jefferson Davis and Abraham Lincoln respectively. Both knives feature the official Case Long Tail C serialization and serial number #266 on the front pocket end bolsters. This spectacular 1988 Case XX Civil War Set is in mint condition in the original issue Case 1988 Civil War Set presentation box with original Certificate Of Authenticity. The set that is pictured is the one you will receive. This set is out of a private collection and has never been carried, used or sharpened. No chips or cracks in the handles.
