    Description

    Antique 19th century, c1860s, original 1/16th plate mini ambrotype photograph.  Depicts a portrait of a young woman in period attire.  Comes protected under glass in a brass mat and preserver.  Comes housed in leather and gold gilded half case.
    In Good/As Found overall condition.  Shows wear consistent with age.  Ruby lacquer shows cracking when held to the light.
    Measures 1 3/8” x 1 5/8”.  Case measures 2 1/8” x 1 7/8”.
