Antique Lamson & Goodnow Early American Hunting Knife Checkered Bolster Handle

This is a nice older cowboy bowie style hunting knife by the well known Lamson & Goodnow. Also stamped with S. Falls Works. Which is not as common on their stamp. There are no cracks just a very small chip missing out of the bottom of one side of the handle. Just a nice old knife. This knife shows ver little use. There is some staining that can be seen on the blade.
This knife was listed previously and sold. The buyer said the knife was a reworked kitchen knife because the blade was thin and he felt the guard was not factory. He requested a refund and was given one. He was wrong in his complaint. The blade is thin as can be seen in the photo. Please take note of that . However I did ask him to go to google and look at images of Goodnow hunting knives where you can find three images of knives that are the exact same. I believe that is proof that this knife is a factory knife yet a fairly rare one. So please look at the photos and do the research. I have good feedback and work very hard to be accurate in my descriptions. Thank you for looking.
