    NOTE - no attempt has been made to polish, clean or otherwise make this knife more attractive for photos. Wiped over with an oily rag!
    An antique (early 20

    Century) hunting knife by Taylor Eye Witness, Sheffield. Some condition issues, but an uncommon item. Low starting price.
    Measures approximately 8 3/16 inches long overall, point to pommel end. Blade measures approximately 4 1/8 inches long, point to cross guard, measured in a straight line. Obverse blade stamped “Taylor Witness Sheffield England” with the Eye mark. Brass cross guard. Stacked leather grips with Red-Brass-Black-Brass spacers at each end. Aluminum pommel with brass locking lug. Blade stained. Tip rounded. Slight bend to blade (see photos). Stacked leather grips have usage wear. Grips and cross guard loose – no attempt made to tighten the locking lug. Aluminum pommel with “dings”.
