ARGENTINE ARMY ARSENAL PARATROOPER GLADIUS BLADE KNIFE AIRBORNE
MADE DURING '60S TO '80S PERIOD
Knife and scabbard in EXCELLENT+ condition. Knife looks unused.
Carbon steel
gladius blade, it still has the protective factory varnish coating, threaded rat-tail tang.
"Integral" aluminium "D" design handguard with varnished wood handle with 4 grooves for finger.
The wooden hilt has a small missing part on left side close to the pommel (please see photo with yellow arrow).
A blued steel screw with internal female thread secures the assembly through a black plastic spacer.
The brown leather scabbard is the original to the knife, complete, some
stains and marks on scabbard
due to few use
, model with the hilt strap.
The frog was sewed crooked to scabbard (factory manufacture mistake)
