You are bidding on a GORGEOUS! 2001 (date code 5 x and 4 dots = 2001) CASE XX
Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife Stiletto Dagger with the words "Remember Pearl Harbor" on the blade. The knife is made by Case XX and is a collectible fixed blade knife. It has a vintage appeal and would be perfect for any collector to add to their collection. The Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife is a classic design and this knife is in excellent condition. My favorite part of this knife is the absolutely GORGEOUS stainless steel KNURLED handle (see all pics). The knife comes with the original black leather sheath. The black leather sheath shows signs of being in a storage box with other knives, like scuff marks on the front and back of the leather sheath (see pics). The overall length of the knife is 12-1/4" long. The blade is 7-1/4" long.

This knife, and many more Case knives I will be offering up came from
an elderly gentleman who lives in the Southern tier of N.Y. He is an avid collector of CASE knives. He bought the knives and then took them out of the box and placed them in a display case in his living room. He would periodically remove the knives from the case and polish them up with a cloth. So, this knife really is more like a new/old stock knife; it has been handled and opened and closed but never used and still has the original factory edge.
NOTE:
The knife has been wiped down with a clean, soft, dry cloth only and I did not attempt to remove any patina, cleaning will be left to the purchaser. Any defects we noticed were listed, but I did not assign a level of condition. You must see all of the photos which are considered a part of this description (use the eBay zoom-in tool), and make your own decision regarding blade, and handle conditions; ask questions for anything you see or don't see before you decide to purchase the knife, because once shipped, the knife cannot be returned or refunded.
