Collins & Co. Legitimus Machete, Vintage, made in Collinsville, Conn. USA

Description

Up for auction is a Collins & Company Legitimus machete.  It has a 17" blade and the blade has had some corrosion in the past and attempt was made to
sand it out, still some remains by the black label and near the tip.  There is also some metal staining on the reverse side as seen in the pictures.  The blade
is straight and the handles are tight on the blade.  The leather sheath has a black tar like stain by the tip.  Also the edge is somewhat sharp, but could use
a bit more sharpening.
The whole thing weighs 1 lb. 5.3 ounces and will
ship at the 2 lb. priority rate.
