Description

CR28K6-PFV-230 Copeland 28,000 BTU R22 208-230V 1Ph Hermetic Compressor.
Recovered from a Lennox condensor that was decommissioned due to a connection tab of the compressor which had corroded and caused a loose connection which ultimately caused the attached wire to become severed.
Although the flat metal tabs which are welded onto the sides of the 3 electrical post terminals have become corroded (see pictures attached), the round posts themselves are still good condition and windings still test as being in good working condition.
The original wires that had been attached to this compressor were discarded and no wiring will be included with this sale.       However, it is recommended that a compressor terminal wiring repair kit (sold separately) is used to create a good secure and serviceable connection with the posts of this compressor when it is prepared for its next installation.    Please consult a licensed HVAC technician if you're not familiar with how to install a compressor terminal wiring repair kit.
Oil:
It's been verified that this compressor contains 45oz of Mineral oil, which is the exact amount recommended by the manufacturer.
