This Vintage Explorer 21-296 Seki Japan Bone Small Sting Fixed Blade Dagger Knife is a rare and collectible item for enthusiasts of fixed blade knives. The blade is a spear point design with a double edge. Blade measures 3 1/4" and overall length is 6 1/2". Has Japan on one side and 21-296 on the other. Explorer Boot is deeply etched in blade. The handle is made of bone and features a full tang. This knife is an original piece of craftsmanship from Japan, perfect for any user looking to add to their collection. This is a new unused knife. Please note in the last picture there is a hairline crack in the handle next to the top pin.This rare Explorer boot knife made by Tak Fukuta circa 1980 for Explorer. It features a stainless steel blade and bone handle (has small hairline crack near brass guard/pin).This knife is similar to the A.G. Russell sting boot knife' Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others
