Vividly flourescent Calcite fibrous crystal spray with an adhering black metallic mineral (Sphalerite? see Photo #6). Beautiful red fluorescence (Photos #1 and #9). The The Peruvian mines are noted for their specimens of these minerals. This specimen came from the Pachapaqui Mine, Huanuco Dept., Peru. As shown on Photo #3, this is Specimen Number 2115. This small cabinet specimen was purchased from the estate of Don Knowles in 1991. Overall dimensions of this unusual specimen are 7.0 x 6.2 x 2.2 cm. 41319
