Iisakki Järvenpää Puukko Knife w/ Birch Handle & Belt Loop Sheath

The Iisakki Järvenpää Company was founded in 1879 and is the largest manufacturer of knives in Kauhava, Finland, a well-known town which has a long and rich history of knife making.  Handles are made from locally sourced curly birch wood, occasionally with birch bark spacers.
The knife measures 7 1/4" total length, blade is 3 1/4" long and 5/8" wide.  Sheath is 7 5/8" long, 11 1/4" long including belt loop.  Combined weight is 3.1 ounces prior to packing for shipping.  Will ship in an 10x6x4 box.
This set is in very good used condition without glinting, signs of rust, warping or dings.  The endcap butt has light wear.  The blade has light scratches.  The handle is very smooth without signs of dings or scratches.  The sheath has light discoloration with a broken thread at the end and a loose stitch at the top.  The hand painted wood attachment has a small chip on the back of the tip of the right foot.
