    STROMATOLITE, FORMED BY CYANOBACTERIA - Chlorellopsis colonia Reis .
    THE SPECIMEN IS
    APPROXIMATELY 11 X 7 X 7 cm

    WEIGHS 492.7 gm.
    THE SPECIMEN IS FROM
    LANEY MEMBER, GREEN RIVER FORMATION, NEAR TIPTON, SWEETWATER CO., WYOMING.

    EOCENE AGE
    .
    STROMATOLITES HAVE BEEN AROUND SINCE PRE-CAMBRIAN TIMES AND STILL EXIST IN SOME OF TODAY'S OCEANS. THIS SPECIMEN FORMED IN FRESH TO BRACKISH WATER OF EOCENE LAKE GOSIUTE BEFORE IT DRIED UP IN SW WYOMING.  THE SPECIMEN DISPLAYS WELL.  SEE PICTURES.  I WILL COMBINE SHIPPING WHEN POSSIBLE.  THANKS FOR LOOKING.
