IN SW WYOMING.
OOLITES FORM BY DEPOSITION OF CALCIUM CARBONATE AROUND A NUCLEUS OF ORGANIC MATERIAL OR A GRAIN OF SAND.
THE OOLITES GRADUALLY BUILD UP AND ARE ROLLED BY WAVE ACTION. IT IS AN INTERESTING HAND SPECIMEN AND IS VERY PURE.
