    DELANEY RIM, NEAR TIPTON, SWEETWATER CO., WYOMING
    .  THIS LIMESTONE HAS A FRESH OR BRACKISH WATER ORIGIN.  IT FORMED IN THE LATE STAGE OF
    EOCENE LAKE GOSIUTE
    IN SW WYOMING.
    OOLITES FORM BY DEPOSITION OF CALCIUM CARBONATE AROUND A NUCLEUS OF ORGANIC MATERIAL OR A GRAIN OF SAND.
    THE OOLITES GRADUALLY BUILD UP AND ARE ROLLED BY WAVE ACTION.  IT IS AN INTERESTING HAND SPECIMEN AND IS VERY PURE.
