    Description

This is a  rough untreated specimen of  Anorthoclase feldspar Moonstone  from the Stettin Pluton in Marathon Co, WI.
    Shown dry in the photos.
Other noted minerals on this pegmatite specimen is some very minor amount of Arvesdonite.
Shows good schiller when held at just the right angle in decent light, it could be oiled or polished to bring out the effect more.
This type of Moonstone is only found in Marathon County Wisconsin. These take an excellent polishing, I have done face polishes on several of mine and they turned out amazing, and if you have the skills you can create some really nice cabs.
    187 grams
    3-1/2" length
