VERY NICE! Vintage 8" Blade CASE XX Carbon Steel Chef's Butcher Knife Total Length  is 12-1/2"

CASE XX
Hammer Forged Style Butcher's knife.
Both
wooden handles are still solidly mounted to the full tang of the knife with the 3 LARGE brass rivets. The handles are not loose at all, and there's no cracks, breaks or repairs on the hickory wood handles (see pics). The blade is still stiff and straight after all of these years, not bent or curved (see pics).
No chips or nicks on the cutting edge of the blade also (see pics). The belly of the blade is a little indented from over sharpening in that area of the blade near the handle, this is a very common thing that I see on vintage carbon steel knives a lot of the time (see pics). The
CASE XX
name on the blade of the knife is very visible (see pics). The knife weighs in at 5.6 oz. The over all lengths of the knife is 12-1/2" long. The blade of the knife is 8" long. Please use the zoom function to inspect all photos to see the exact condition of the item.
