PHENOMENAL HERKIMER DIAMOND CLUSTER WITH RAINBOWS

This is a magnificent cluster of Herkimer Diamonds from Herkimer, N.Y.  The specimen contains gorgeous rainbows ( photos 1 - 3) and some classic
anthracitic
inclusions.
The true character of the specimen is revealed when it is held to light or a desk lamp as demonstrated in photo 11 !
This fine specimen is an outstanding addition to any metaphysical or fine mineral collection!
The photos are taken with my i Phone. The specimen is MUCH nicer in person.
Herkimer Diamonds are rare , high quality, double terminated quartz crystals. They were formed about 500 million years ago within volcanic vugs of the native "doloquartz " matrix.
