The illustrated Buck Knife is the Pro Level Buck Matt Would Go Knife, designed by and in memory of U.S. Navy SEAL Matthew J Leathers, that features a 4" modified drop point fixed blade made of 5160 steel, .165" thick. The blade of this Buck Knife has a non reflective black finish and a notched thumb rest. The Matt Would Go Knife has full tang construction for strength, finger grooved multi color Micarta scales for secure grip, and
an extended skull crusher pommel
with lanyard hole. A Kydex sheath with attachment is included with this Buck Knife. The Buck Matt Would Go Knife has an overall length of 9", and it weighs 6.3 ounces.

I bought this to have an excellent General purpose knife. The looks and the feel as well as the expected quality of Buck Knife. I was not disappointed in any way. There are no details that I did not have before I purchased the knives that I would liked to have had before purchase. The initial review of the knife on the Buck web site (as I recall) showed the knife in and out of a leather scabbard. It did not come with one. I guess that as I finally figure out the one that did come with the knife all will be better.
