This is a very good miniature that features crystals in matrix of very rare niocalite. The specimen also has a very good display of microcrystals of perovskite along one edge.
The specimen is number 7-101 in the catalog of the Joseph Mitchell collection which consisted of worldwide minerals collected from 1937 to about 1980.
