Rare Vintage Retro Collectible Brass Rubik's Rubix Cube Metal Art Puzzle Toy.
This is a beautiful piece of art and collector's item! It is extremely rare and difficult to come by.
Cube measures 2 3/4 inch by 2 3/4 inch. The three layers twist (see photo).
From the research I have done, this seems to be from the store Mr. Man Ltd. on Broadway in New York City.
Please look at pictures carefully for condition. There is some white calcification between the layers when you twist the cube. The top of one of the squares is missing; this is not noticeable when the cube is in it natural state, but is noticeable when the cube is turned, as is seen in the pictures. There is a lot of beautiful natural patina on the cube. I have not attempted to shine the cube or remove the calcification, since many collectors prefer to have their items in the original condition. You can decide if you'd like to polish it yourself! This is a really unique and beautiful piece.
