The

According
to the company’s official web page, this marks the end of the longest continually operating knife factory in the United States.
Therefore, finding discontinued
American-made early

BLADE
:
The
bright
USA steel
hunting / skinning blade
has a
mostly
"Mirror-like finish"
and is designed with
blood groover
(or fullers)
.
I'll leave any decision to sharpen the blade up to the new owner.
This

thin faint surface rubs/scratches and short light sharpening
marks
that are consistent for the age.
The
reflective fixed blade

a
1 7/8" long false top edge
(or swedge) that could be sharpened if desired. The
tip is pointed,
and the knife has a
great
plain edge blade design
(not serrated.)
The beautiful Q knife & Q leather sheath have been carefully stored for years...
and are waiting for just the right person to appreciate their early USA history and quality design.
