SOG Field Pup I Knife (Prototype) Black TiNi Collectors Item

Description

This was an experimental prototype Field Pup I Knife dating pre 2002. Only a satin model was produced (FP3) (see B&W ad in pics) and many years later a different TiNi model was released. What makes it a prototype? The “Field Pup” name is missing on blade (see pic of satin model), and like previously mentioned, the Field Pup was never produced in black TiNi until many years later. If you purchase this knife, upon request I can provide a “Certificate of Authenticity” of this being a prototype.
Comes with the correct SOG sheath. This is truly a “VINTAGE” knife that came from a small collection from a former SOG employee.
Condition: EXCELLENT condition. No packaging included. Light marks are visible on the TiNi coating from usage, but overall nothing serious.
