Turkish M1 Garand M5A1 Bayonet in Good Condition and Fully Serviceable. Serial Number on pommel. It has a 6.5" carbon steel blade and an 11.25" overall length. These bayonets have a unique checkered aluminum handle with worn black paint finish. The Turks wanted a handle that was more robust than the black plastic handle of the American version. The Turks were recipients of US M1 Garands between 1963 and 1972 and they were issued to Naval and Air Force ground units.
