Description
Here is a very rare specimen featuring chalcopyrite var. blister copper from Tonglushan Copper Mine, near Daye, Hubei Province, China. The chalcopyrite has formed 7 spherical crystals that have naturally fused together to create a very aesthetic presentation. The largest spheres on this one are quite big for this find too! The crystals have a slightly iridescent palette showing bronze, blue and purple. The surface of the spheres is made up of tiny crystals and the luster allows them to sparkle a bit! The second half of the video was taken with the camera’s flash on to show the glittery effect. These specimens came from a very small find in late 2018 to early 2019 and are almost impossible to find these days, especially in this size. A really unique and gorgeous specimen!Dimensions:
