    Description

    This is a vintage Hunting Knife that dates to the early 1920's and is marked IROS KEEN NEW YORK.  They were a Retailer only in business a short time.  They had knives made under contract by other cutlery companies.  I'm pretty certain this knife was made by Union Cutlery Company of Olean, NY as I've had an identical knife marked Union.  Knife measures 9.75" long with the blade being 5.75".  Deep fullers on both side like a Marbles Ideal.  Blade has been cleaned and polished bright.  No pitting or scratches.  Nickel silver guard.  Handle is a leather stacked center section surrounded by stacks of red, black and brass spacers.  A real attractive handle.  Aluminum knob pommel secured by recessed round brass nut.  Comes in a handmade sheath that was made for it. The knife snaps securely into the sheath without a keeper.    Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back.  Check my Feedback.
