Vintage Buck 121 Guide 5 1/2" Blade Knife w/ Leather Sheath Pre Date Code NOS

This auction is for a vintage Buck 121 'Guide' model fixed blade 5 1/2" knife. It comes just as it originally did with its box, papers (even the packing paper) and the full enclosure sheath. This is one of the earlier model 121's as it does not have the later Buck date codes. The stamping would indicate this one was likely produced between 1972 and 1986.. This one has one of the earlier Buck boxes so I'm expecting it to be from the 1970's.. Also interesting is that it is a box marked 'Fisherman' but then scribbled out with 'Guide'. The Fisherman was the earlier model 121's so this likely was from a period that Buck had a lot of the 121 Fisherman boxes ready to go and used them for the earlier Guide models.
This is a NOS item that we had in our sporting good store's inventory that went unsold years ago. (It even still has the pricetag on the box of from back then).
