Vintage Choate Tool Dendritic Boot Knife CIA Scarce FREE Shipping Make Offer

Up for bids is a vintage (1980's) and original Choate Tool Corporation Stinger boot knife made from 440 dendritic steel.  The markings are molded into the handle of the knife.  It reads "Choate Tool Corp." on one side and "Made In
United States of America" on the other.  As you can see from the pictures, the markings are very faint.  It is full tang with thong hole and measures 7 7/8" in length and the blade is 3 3/4".  This is an unused and unfinished knife.  It is not sharp.  The knife is intended to be profile sharpened to resemble the common CIA letter opener glass filled (non-magnetic) knives that used to be common in magazine classifieds back in the day.  This knife comes with a leather boot sheath.
