Vintage - GROHMANN - Skinner - Stainless-1995 DUCKS UNLTD.-EZE LAP -Sheath -New

Description

Please excuse reflections on some pictures.  There are no weird lines or colors on the knife.
This standard skinner is tang stamped "Grohmann - #101 s - STAINLESS" and the blade is stamped "DUCKS UNLIMITED - 1995" with their "duck head" logo.  The reverse is tang stamped "Grohmann - Pictou NS - Canada."  The stainless steel upswept blade does not appear to have ever been used.  There are a couple of very light scratches, but that is all.  The blade has a bright satin finish.  Top of the full tang blade has a knurled thumb/finger rest.  The rosewood handle is a very rich reddish brown with a lanyard hole.  Handle is attached with 3 large metal pins.  The original heavy leather sheath is embossed with "DUCKS UNLIMITED" - "GUIDE - SERIES" with a picture of a duck hunter in the reeds.  This has the side holder for a knife sharpener.  The sharpener is marked "EZE - LAP DIAMOND "M" - PATENTED BOX 2229 - WESTMINSTER, CA. 92683."  Sharpener fits snugly.   Sheath is in very good condition with on small ding on the front.  This is a family owned company for over 65 years in Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada.
