    Description

    This type of small knife is the shape of a traditional Japanese tool, originally made as a carpenter's tool. Later, it spread as a general-purpose tool for shaving wood and cutting fabric. It is grinded on one side only and is for right-handed users. The other side is grinded with a slight depression in the center to make the edge sharper.
    The carbon steel construction will rust if not oiled. It is believed to be 40~50 years old from the Showa period
