VINTAGE SCHRADE "OLD TIMER" #1091981 BOWIE KNIFE WITH 10” BLADE AND A GORGEOUS! CUSTOM MADE LEATHER SHEATH!
You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL! vintage SCHRADE OLD TIMER #1091981 BOWIE KNIFE With a nearly 10” Long BLADE. Knife comes with a GORGEOUS Custom HandMade Heavy Duty Mountain Man Leather Sheath. On the sheath is a "MAKERS MARK" letter "M" with a leather makers hammer going across the M (see last pic). I have looked for that mark, but could not find any info on who made this awesome leather sheath. The edge on the blade of this knife is still the factory ground edge. Meaning this knife has not been sharpened at all since it left the factory years ago (see pics). The brass finger guard and both handles are all securely mounted, not loose at all. The knife blade is straight, not bent or curved (see pics). The heavy duty leather sheath has a few stains on the front (see pics). And all of the leather stitching is still present and not missing at all (see all pics). The entire leather sheath is made out of 1/8" thick leather, that is still nice and supple, not stiff at all. The knife has a total length of 15-1/4" long. And the blade is 9-3/4" long (nearly 10" long). The knife is HEAVY at 15.6 oz. (almost 1 pound). The sheath is 13-1/2" long from the belt loop to the very tip of the sheath (see pics). And the 2 leather leg straps are both 19" long.
